En esta gu\u00eda quiero explicar de forma clara <strong>qu\u00e9 es la corriente nominal<\/strong>, c\u00f3mo se calcula en distintos equipos y c\u00f3mo aplicarla en la pr\u00e1ctica para garantizar seguridad y eficiencia.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la corriente nominal?<\/h2>\n<p>La <strong>corriente nominal<\/strong> es la cantidad de corriente el\u00e9ctrica que un equipo puede transportar o consumir de forma <strong>continua y segura<\/strong>, sin sobrecalentarse ni sufrir da\u00f1os. Aplicando la f\u00f3rmula, su corriente nominal es de unos 40 A. Al conocerla, podemos dimensionar fusibles y cables adecuados, evitando disparos de protecci\u00f3n y sobrecalentamiento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aspectos clave a vigilar en motores:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Corriente de arranque: puede ser 5 a 7 veces superior a la nominal.<\/li>\n<li>Temperatura ambiente: cada 10 \u00b0C de m\u00e1s reduce la capacidad en torno a un 10 %.<\/li>\n<li>Altitud: por encima de 1000 m la refrigeraci\u00f3n es peor y hay que sobredimensionar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>En transformadores<\/h2>\n<p>En un transformador, la corriente nominal marca el l\u00edmite que puede circular sin que el bobinado se caliente en exceso.<\/p>\n<p><strong>F\u00f3rmula pr\u00e1ctica:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; font-size: 16px;\">I = S \/ V<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I = corriente nominal (en amperios, A)<\/li>\n<li>S = potencia aparente (en kilovoltamperios kVA)<\/li>\n<li>V = voltaje nominal (en voltios, V)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Caso aplicado:<\/strong> en una instalaci\u00f3n solar aislada se usa un transformador de 50 kVA a 400 V. Su corriente nominal es de unos 72 A por fase. Saberlo nos permite proteger el sistema con interruptores autom\u00e1ticos de calibre correcto.<\/p>\n<h2>En cables<\/h2>\n<p>En los cables, la corriente nominal depende de la secci\u00f3n del conductor, el material (cobre o aluminio), el aislamiento y las condiciones de instalaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ejemplo pr\u00e1ctico:<\/strong> para un inversor fotovoltaico de 15 kW a 230 V, el c\u00e1lculo da una corriente nominal de 65 A. Es la base para dimensionar bien motores, transformadores y cables, y para garantizar seguridad, eficiencia y ahorro.
